Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
BBA's Participation in the 2014 Walk
This Year, Brooklyn Baseball Association partook in the Making Strides Against Cancer Walk. BBA not only tries to promote the love of baseball to children, but we try to assist our children in building strong character through our Community Service Program. The Breast Cancer walk presented a perfect opportunity for our children.

We arrived first at the Juice Pedaler, a juice bar as well as a bike repair shop, located right outside Prospect Park. After some quick refreshments, we made our way towards Prospect Park and the Breast Cancer Walk.

An estimated 35,000 people showed up for what turned out to be an extraordinary event. The BBA Family supported the event with custom pink shirts that showed support for Breast Cancer Awareness. After a few inspiring speeches, a few amazing performances, and an amazing song by a little girl, the BBA Family made it's way towards the starting line.
